The label "Business Living Heritage" was created by Article 23 of the Act
SME 2 August 2005 to promote enterprise development
holding "an economic, composed in particular know-how rare
renamed or ancestral, based on mastering traditional techniques or
high-tech and surrounding territory. " It has three main objectives:
------ Valuing the parent companies of the economic and cultural identity
French facilitate their recognition at national and international
thus preventing the disappearance of the weakest among them.
------ To encourage these enterprises to innovate and expand their markets (the world market which opens in particular thanks to the Internet is an extraordinary opportunity
for most of them).
----- Consolidating their growth, allow the development of jobs and therefore
transfer of know-how and businesses.
The label is assigned by the Minister of SMEs, Commerce, Handicrafts and
Liberal Professions for a period of 5 years, after consulting the Commission
Nationale des Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant composed of professionals and
qualified persons.
