Come immerse yourself in the history and atmosphere of the Denoix distillery.

The visit traces the 180 years of the Maison lifespan. You will discover the history of the Denoix family that still leads the business and maintains the liqueur makers’ know-how.
In this family history, the friendship of Jean Lurçat, a great artist, played a major role: Lurçat’s footprint is in the design of several liqueur labels, as well as in his own liqueur, devised in collaboration with his friend Elie Denoix. You will also admire an original piece from this tapestry maker.

Secrets of manufacture

In the heart of the winery, we will tell you about the secrets of our liqueurs and aperitifs: about processing green walnuts, macerating and distilling..

A few artifacts bear witness to the authentic past of the distillery: vintage bottles, labels, and photographs, as well as the great book of accounts.

Tasting

Following historical adventures, on to tasting experiences! We will guide you through the tasting of a few of our products best suited to your wishes.

At the counter of our winery, you will enjoy a commented group tasting of our three specialities: the Suprême Denoix liqueur, the Armagnac à l’Orange, and the Fenouillette de Brive. Through this guided tasting session, you will savour their subtle and comely flavours.
